Edmund McCormack
Co-Founder & Managing Partner
Edmund McCormack is the Co-Founder & Managing Partner of Dchained Capital. He is responsible for the firm’s investment and risk management strategies, compliance, developer relations, and oversight of Dchained’s automated trading and analysis technology.
Prior to Dchained Capital, Edmund was the CEO and Founder of Dchained, LLC – an advisory firm that provided the education and online resources necessary to onboard new investors in the cryptocurrency market.
Edmund is a tech industry veteran with 15 years of executive experience at identifying new market opportunities and launching new businesses at Apple, News Corp, and Teads Given his in-depth knowledge of the tech and blockchain markets, Edmund is a trusted expert that’s been featured in top financial publications, such as Forbes, US News & World Report, and American Banker
Edmund is a registered Investment Adviser Representative with a Series 63 and 65 qualification and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Boston University’s Questrom School of Business.
Jonathan Famery
Co-Founder & Managing Partner
Jonathan Famery is responsible for the firm’s investment and risk management strategies, investor relations, and operations.
Prior to Dchained Capital, Jonathan was an investment banker at FT Partners, the leading FinTech bank for 5 years where he acquired a deep expertise in executing FinTech M&A deals, tech investing, and identifying new market opportunities / trends.
Prior to FT Partners, Jonathan was a professional soccer player at Paris St. Germain, Dijon, and Red Star organizations during his 9 year career.
Jonathan holds the Series 79 and 63 qualification and a BA in Business Economics from Brown University.

Andrew McCaffery
Institutional Strategy Advisor
Andrew is the Institutional Strategy Advisor for Dchained Capital. He leverages his 30+ years in the Financial Services to advise Dchained’s management team on how to best meet institutional demand for Digital Assets.
Prior to advising Dchained Capital, Andrew joined Fidelity International ($817 bn AUM) in July 2019 as its Global Chief Investment Officer. Prior to this he spent 8 years at Aberdeen Standard Investments in a range of senior roles including Global Head of Strategic Client Investments and Global Head of Alternatives. He has over 30 years’ industry experience across investment, risk management and client distribution. He was also a Managing Director at UBS prior to this.
Frank Speiser
Artificial Intelligence & Systematic Trading Advisor
Frank is the Artificial Intelligence & System Trading Advisor for Dchained Capital. Frank is currently the CEO of Metafide, an AI-driven market intelligence firm that offers a suite of tools for automated market making, trade strategy generation, and risk mitigation.
Prior to Dchained Capital and Metafide, Frank has extensive experience as a Founder of multiple Ai-driven businesses with successful exits. Frank has also served as an instructor at General Assembly, focusing on the use of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, natural language processing and applied mathematics to monetize data across social networks.
As a subject or author, Frank has appeared in The Independent, WSJ, New York Times, The Guardian, The San Francisco Chronicle and other familiar publications, and has been featured in several books on the innovation and data space, most notably “The Disruption Revolution” by David Passiak. He has used large data patterns to successfully predict the US 2016 Presidential Election and the Brexit vote which received attention from the international press.
